Mt Dickey's west face route is a common climb that fits into AMS' climbing skills progression on a mountaineering course.

The view Moose's Tooth from the summit of Dickey is in Dr. Bradford Washburn's words, "The best view in the Alaska Range!" Brad made the first ascent of Mt. Dickey.
