AMS is proud of Melis Coady. She first showed up in Talkeetna in
1998 as a student on an AMS advanced mountaineering course. She has since
done numerous personal climbing trips in Alaska and become an excellent
AMS instructor and guide. Whether it is a wilderness course, mountaineering,
or Denali, Melis can do it all. Since 1993, she has started teaching Wilderness
First Responder courses to add to her busy schedule. Melis lives in Talkeetna.
