AMS offers both the Wilderness First Responder (WFR) nine day certification and two day re-certification courses in Talkeetna. They are held in spring of every year.
The WFR certification is the outdoor industry standard and a must for all people who spend time in the backcountry.
All AMS instructors are trained in Wilderness First Responder.
