Applying for AMS Glacier Treks

To reserve a space on an AMS glacier trek, please read, complete, and return to AMS an application with the non-refundable deposit. Upon acceptance, we will send you a detailed program description, equipment list, and travel/logistics information. You will also receive medical, release, and travel forms to fill out and return to us.

Deposit amount per person for Glacier Trek is:

1 day trek: $150
2 day trek: $200
3 day trek: $250
The balance is due 60 days prior to the start date of the course.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

AMS recommends that you purchase travel insurance immediately after paying your deposit. This special insurance may cover costs if you are unable to join your program due to personal emergency, personal or family medical reasons, or if a program is canceled for reasons beyond AMS' control. It may also cover evacuation and medical expenses in the result of illness or injury. AMS is not responsible for costs associated with canceled enrollment, programs that cancel for reasons beyond AMS' control, and evacuations from the mountains.
